Active: Active means the property is currently being offered for sale with no conditions.
Active (Backup): Active Taking Backups means the property is under contract, and is continuing to be shown to prospective buyers because there are condition[s], not yet fulfilled, that may prevent the closing.
Active (First Right): First Right of Refusal means the property is under contract, and is continuing to be shown to prospective buyers, however, the property has an existing contract with a specific condition that must be satisfied by the existing buyer [generally conditioned upon the sale of the buyer's existing property]. In the event another offer is presented, the existing buyer must refuse to remove the specific condition before the second offer can be accepted.
